Retired spy Robert Carter Michaels (Bruce Willis) is considered one of the most important CIA agents in history. His estranged son Paul (Jesse Metcalfe) surprises him with a visit, learning that his secluded residence is actually a highly secure secret base. Their strained reunion quickly turns deadly as Paul unknowingly led dangerous criminal Frederic Balzary (Chad Michael Murray) straight to the compound. Robert takes refuge in the base command center called ‘The Fortress’, but he needs Paul's help to defend the base. With The Fortress under siege, this father and son duo must team up to fight their way out of their dire situation.
